Underlining the demand for top quality Grade A offices in
Glasgow city centre, ACCA (the
Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) has confirmed it is
leasing three floors at the brand new prestigious 110 Queen Street
development which is now full.
ACCA is relocating its current Glasgow based workforce of 738 in
late Autumn 2016 from existing offices at Central Quay and Hydepark
Street.
Helen Brand OBE, ACCA's Chief Executive said: "We believe
this move is a major endorsement for Glasgow - that it has the
skills to support a growing international organisation. This new
home will give ACCA a dynamic, inspiring and sustainable place to
work, in the heart of a thriving and dynamic city centre."
ACCA's move is the latest in a series of lettings at the city's
most prestigious Grade A buildings. These include Registers of
Scotland, a non-ministerial government department, relocating to
Abstract's St Vincent
Plaza development, taking the third floor of 17,294 sq. ft. on
a 15 year lease.
And, one of the world's largest professional services firms,
Arup Group Limited, is relocating from its existing Glasgow offices
to take the 13,681 sq ft seventh floor at 1 West Regent Street
on a ten year lease.
