Thirty five new jobs are being created in the IFSD by Parseq, the
leading provider of customer communication services. The news
follows Parseq's success in securing an additional contract to
provide BT with sales centre support.
Parseq is now boosting its 250 seat contact centre operation in
the city with the creation of the 35 new roles.
Graham Stein, managing director of Parseq's contact centre
business says: "We're delighted to achieve a multi-site partnership
with BT and the creation of further employment and investment
within Glasgow".
"This month marks our first anniversary in the IFSD. When
we arrived, we made a pledge to grow the career opportunities
available for the local workforce and I'm pleased to say 12 months
on that's exactly what we've been able to achieve and it's a
commitment which will continue, as we win more business and grow
our Scottish operation."
The firm employs more than 2,500 nationally and represents some
of the UK's most respected blue-chip brands, including the top ten
international banks, a third of the country's utility sector and
has a significant presence within financial and insurance
services.
