The search for the Glasgow's insurance sector's
Young Professional of the Year has been launched. The Insurance
and Actuarial Society of Glasgow (IASG) is now seeking nominations
for Young Professional of the Year for 2017 from Chartered
Insurance Institute (CII) members and employers across the Glasgow
region.
The award will be presented to a forward thinking individual who
has gone above and beyond the call of duty to make a difference
within their organisation or across the profession.
In particular, the judges will be looking for an individual
achieving outstanding performance within their role, contributing
to the wider market in an innovative way, possibly leading a
project that has changed the way their organisation
operates and overall an individual who is making good progress
in their professional development.
The winner will receive £1,000, two runners up will receive £250
and all three will be invited to the IASG annual dinner.
Applicants can be nominated or indeed they can nominate
themselves, provided they have been working in the insurance
industry for less than five years and are a member of the CII.
Nomination forms are available from Kieran.gallagher@mclarens.com
and completed forms must be returned by close of play 31st August
2017.
