Ruth MacLeod, Head of Communications for the Church of Scotland
is the keynote speaker at Glasgow's next Internal Communicators
Networking Event.
Organised by Anne Marie Croal and Louise Mukherji-Powell of NFU
Mutual Direct and supported by Glasgow's International Financial
Services District, the free to attend event, takes place on
Thursday March 22nd from approximately 6pm - 8pm, at NFU
Mutual's offices in Centenary House, 69 Wellington Street, Glasgow,
G2 6HG. Food and refreshments provided.
Ruth MacLeod has spent over twenty two years working in
corporate communications, predominantly in the public sector. This
includes roles with the British Medical Association, Lothian
and Borders Fire Service, City of Edinburgh Council, Scottish
Government and Lothian and Borders Police. As a specialist in
crisis communications, Ruth was also responsible for delivering the
communications function for the newly formed national Scottish Fire
and Rescue Service which led to her working on a number of high
profile incidents including the Clutha Bar helicopter crash and the
George Square bin lorry crash.
Her expertise in delivering high profile and large scale
communications will form the basis of a fantastic presentation and
workshop session at the networking evening.
Places at the event will be allocated strictly on a first come,
first served basis and those wishing to attend should request a
place by sending an email to events@budgepr.com
