Encompass
Corporation, provider of industry-leading visual information
management technology to the insolvency and restructuring sector,
is to invest over £2.2 million opening a new office in Glasgow's
IFSD creating 21 new jobs.
This is the first head office operation Australian based
Encompass has established outside its home market and marks the
start of a planned period of expansion for the company across the
UK and other markets including the United States.
Encompass' technology enables professionals to simultaneously
access, analyse and visualise multiple sources of information to
instantly understand company structures and asset ownership, in
order to make better, faster commercial decisions.
Alex Ford, Head of Marketing for Encompass, who will relocate
from Sydney to the new Glasgow office to help lead the firm's
expansion comments: "We recognise Glasgow as a city focused
on achieving its key objective to become a tech hub and smart city.
We plan to bring in highly-skilled staff from the rich local
talent pool and take advantage of the city's strong culture of
innovation and cutting-edge research and development and capitalise
on new commercial opportunities."
