For the first time, the Annual Bank of Scotland Great Scottish
Run in Glasgow on October 6 has a Business Challenge and
organisers are on the hunt for the fastest business in the
IFSD.
With a minimum of four in a team (mixed teams must be a minimum
of two male, two female*) and a maximum of eight, businesses can
enter as many teams as they like.
Prizes go to the first three teams in the small, medium and
large business categories for both the 10k and the half marathon;
with each team of 12 or more employees receiving their own
personalised company engraved plaque.
Tracking chip times of postcodes from businesses entered in the
Challenge, organisers will award a special plaque to the
fastest business within the District taking part in the half
marathon, broadcast live for the first time on BBC 2.
Andy Mitchelmore from organisers Nova International, said:"The
atmosphere at the Bank of Scotland Great Scottish Run is second to
none. We hope to see lots of organisations from within the
IFSD taking part this year."
