Over 25 staff from accountancy & business advisory firm French Duncan recently
scaled the dizzying heights of Ben Lomond, setting off at 9am from
picturesque Rowardennan and eventually heading home at 3pm.
The team were climbing to raise money for Children's Hospices Across
Scotland (better known as CHAS), which was voted the firm's
charity of the year for 2022 by French Duncan staff.
Thankfully, the climbers were graced with good weather on the
day and are delighted to have raised over £2,180 already from
donations via the firm's JustGiving page, which is still
rising!
For thirty years CHAS has been offering a full family support
service for babies, children and young people with life-shortening
conditions. This includes palliative care, family respite and
support - through its hospices, homecare services and hospital
presence.
French Duncan are looking forward to continuing with fundraising
activities for this fantastic charity throughout the rest of the
year, including the post-pandemic resurrection of the firm's annual
pub quiz night at Oran Mor in September.
