The
Glasgow board of Women
in Banking and Finance (WiBF) has confirmed its new
structure.
Current chair,
Victoria Pringle (pictured above), who joined the board as
chair in December 2020, is stepping down as chair from June 2022,
to assume the roles of Treasurer and Mentoring Lead. In her day
job, Victoria is Senior Treasury Risk Manager at Tesco Bank.
Emily Smith (below right), who joined the Glasgow board as
Personal Excellence Programme Lead in January 2021, is taking on
the role of chair from June 2022. Emily is currently Business
Manager for the Chief Customer Office at Tesco Bank.
And,
Lynsey Cochrane (below left), who joined the board as
Operations Lead in April 2021 will continue in this role. Lynsey is
Content Design Lead with Hilton.
Current chair Victoria confirmed the WiBF Glasgow branch has
been going from strength to strength, in terms of both members and
the corporates aligned to Scotland.
She said, "Our priority is to ensure that Glasgow WiBF
members are getting the most from their membership, through a suite
of programmes that meets their professional needs. We are
passionate about growing our Glasgow network and seeing similar
success to that observed in the East".
