Fintech leaders and enthusiasts from across the UK will
attend the first ever FinTech National
Network seminar in Glasgow on the 10th October 2019.
Hosted by Fintech Scotland, the half-day seminar will,
through panel discussions and engaging presentations, share
insights on financial innovation from leading figures and the major
fintech leadership bodies including
Innovate Finance, FinTech North, FinTech Wales,
FinTech Northern Ireland and FinTech Scotland, as well as key
stakeholders from Financial Conduct Authority, Department of
International Trade and Scottish Development
International.
Delegates will also hear how the fintech cluster in Glasgow
and Scotland is being developed by entrepreneurs and leading
financial firms, with the University of Strathclyde and Glasgow
City Council to open up collaboration opportunities nationally and
globally.
A spokesperson for the event organisers said, "This is a
significant milestone event bringing together leading participants
in the fintech innovation movement, focusing collaboration
opportunities across the range of clusters. It will also provide
valuable networking opportunities for those wanting to play an
active role in the development of fintech hubs on the global
stage".
The free to attend event takes place at The Technology and
Innovation Centre on George Street on October 10th from 0800 -
