One of Glasgow's most iconic spaces has been transformed with a
£250,000 makeover bringing 21st-century touches to the Victorian
building.
The Grand Central
Hotel has unveiled an elegant new Grand Room decorated in
beautiful dove greys showcasing the grand size and space of the
stylish room.
The redesign was created by award-winning design studio, Graven
Images, combining traditional elegance with contemporary design
without compromising its vintage Hollywood glamour which, in bygone
days, welcomed the likes of Frank Sinatra, JFK, Fred Astaire, Gene
Kelly and Cary Grant among others, as guests.
Graeme Gibson, general manager at The Grand Central Hotel, said:
"This beautiful refurbishment has seen our already Grand Room
transformed into a truly sophisticated venue with the best of
modern design and architecture used to draw out existing, stunning
period features.
"Our hotel prides itself on its heritage with the city and our new
decoration offers a high spec experience for business users that
choose to be part of the hotel's rich and vibrant history."
