Jelf, the insurance, risk
management and employee benefits specialist, has launched its new
Glasgow branch and its biggest trading centre in Scotland at the
prestigious G1 building on George Square.
The broker has secured almost 32,000 sq ft of space,
accommodating around 80 staff. The move follows the acquisition of
Clark Thomson, formerly Scotland's largest independent broker. Jelf
now plans to build the leading community-based risk advisory
business for SMEs in Scotland, with 14 offices across the
country.

our new Glasgow premises and the increased range of services we are
able to offer.
"Our G1 branch is home to one of the most comprehensive broker
teams in the UK including an in-house claims department, specialist
risk management advisors and our own employee benefits
division.
"With our enhanced scale and resources, deep knowledge of local
communities and industry experience we are absolutely committed to
becoming the broker of choice across Scotland."
Across the UK Jelf has almost 3,000 employees serving 250,000
clients from more than 75 branches.
