Exciting plans to revitalise the Atlantic Quay 1, 2 & 3
office buildings have been launched by Resonance Capital,
a JV partner with Moorfield, which purchased the buildings in
August 2015.
At the launch, the River Clyde was the focal point of a Nordic
River Boat tour when the city's property agents took a rib
ride showing contemporary Glasgow from the Clyde.
Angela Higgins of Resonance Capital said: "We are
preparing to reinvent the site, to push it back into the limelight
and create something special on the city's waterfront.
"A 'Grade A' interior refurbishment begins soon and our theme is
created out of the colour palette of the Nordic countries. Inside,
we plan crisp, contemporary Scandinavian interiors enhanced with
bespoke artwork. The underlying message in our branding and in our
Icelandic musical note is "stay here with us".
AQ has agreed a new 10 year lease renewal with Mactaggart
& Mickel on 17,000 sq. ft. of office space. The refurbished
scheme will complete in spring 2017 when 80,000 sq. ft. becomes
available in AQ3. A further 40,000 sq. ft. will be available
in AQ1 in autumn 2017.
