Peninsula, the UK's largest employment law firm, has announced
it is opening a new office in March 2015 in Glasgow which it
expects to create 55 new jobs, with the potential to grow the
business to 70 jobs within 12 months.
The new office, at the
Skypark development, is expected to house employment law experts,
health & safety consultants and administration
staff.
Peter Done,
managing director of Peninsula, said, "We already service over
11,000 Scottish businesses, so to open a new base in Glasgow
is a no-brainer. This way we can better service businesses based
there and offer them enhanced employment law and health &
safety advice. It also means that we will have field consultants
based in Glasgow able to visit more businesses in some of the more
remote areas of Scotland."
"We are very excited at
recruiting locally; for us the advantage is that we can service our
Scottish clients with skilled people who know the country,
geography and people. We will also be recruiting administration and
telemarketing staff from the local area. As our Scottish operation
grows, I envisage we will employ more people over the coming 12
months, with the potential to employ over 70 people."
