Global property company Goodman has published its
masterplan for future phases of office development at the Central
Quay Business Park, on the banks of the River Clyde.
Located within Glasgow's IFSD, near to the Kingston Bridge,
Central Quay combines all the advantages of a high quality,
masterplanned business park, with a city centre location. The
highly flexible masterplan, developed by Keppie Design, offers
large floorplate buildings ranging from 30,000 to 250,000 sq.ft. -
ideally suited for medium to large companies planning a move to
new-build offices in the city.
In total, the site could accommodate an additional 500,000
sq.ft. with generous basement car parking beneath a podium deck.
Central Quay is minutes away from the city's motorway and
expressway network, in close proximity to Anderston Station and
less than seven miles from Glasgow International Airport.
The next steps in the masterplan process involve progressing the
design of individual buildings, looking in detail at access
arrangements, finalising phasing plans and securing a new planning
consent for the scheme.
The 11-acre business park, owned by the Arlington Business Parks
Partnership and managed by Goodman, is home to a number of
organisations including the Association of Chartered Certified
Accountants (ACCA).
