Prestigious Award For Glasgow’s Inovo

The brand new inovo building in Glasgow has won the British Council for Offices (BCO) Commercial Workplace Award for Scotland.

This prestigious accolade recognises an outstanding new building developed on a speculative basis for commercial letting.

Previous winners include three IFSD landmark office developments; G1, 141 Bothwell Street and Aurora,

Completed last year, Scottish Enterprise's 42,000 sq ft Grade A inovo building is already almost 50% let. Located in Glasgow's George Street, it is the first development in the International Technology and Renewable Energy Zone (ITREZ). Current tenants include Catapult, CENSIS, Taylor Hopkinson, Sgurr Energy, Green Marine and Linknode.

Alison Taylor, Director, GVA James Barr, said, "Scottish Enterprise has developed a stunning building with unrivalled green credentials and many innovative features. The award is testament to the innovative design as well as the high-quality specification and construction of the building. We are confident that the extremely competitive rates, along with this recent accolade, will soon see the building fully let."

Inovo is the first building in Glasgow to offer an 'A' Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating. There is a total of 23,000 sq ft available with rents at £22.50 per sq ft for best in class space.
