Leading architects Sheppard Robson, will
host a breakfast panel event in Glasgow on 'wellbeing' on 24 May,
in conjunction with MacRoberts LLP and supported by the IFSD.
This free event will comprise a panel discussion, questions and
networking, considering in depth:
'Wellness in the office: passing trend or
workplace revolution?'
The high-profile panel includes Bill
Ritchie, Chair of the Scottish Chapter of
the BCO; HFD Group's Managing Director, Stephen
Lewis; Director of Human Resources at
MacRoberts, Rupa Mooker;
wellbeing architectural specialist, Robert Myers,
Partner, Sheppard Robson (pictured); and University of Glasgow,
Director of Estates Ann Allen.
Promoting physical and mental wellbeing within the workplace is
a hot topic and momentum is growing to formalise how the commercial
property sector creates, monitors and rates 'wellness'. Wellbeing
has been linked to commercial advantages, ranging from staff
retention and attraction to boosting productivity. The panel will
consider whether the WELL Building Standard will formalise and
shape the way we think about healthy offices, in the same way
BREEAM has driven the sustainability agenda.
This free breakfast panel event is on Wednesday 24 May at 8.30am
at Capella, 60 York Street, Glasgow. Places booked on a 'first come
first served' basis by contacting lisa@skylarkpublicrelations.com.
