Finding the next generation of commercial property leaders is
the aim of a new competition launched by BCO NextGen Scotland - the
British Council for Offices' Committee for younger property
professionals.
Open to both BCO members and non-members, the competition asks
entrants to consider 'the office of 2035: what will it look like,
and how will it support the way we will work?'
BCO NextGen Scotland Chairperson, Hazel Pearson, said:
"This is an opportunity for future leaders to step up and
collaborate with others in the industry, whilst learning from a
team of experienced mentors. We are now seeing the reality of
instantaneous technology and communications and a growing interest
in health, wellbeing and the people who occupy the workplace.
For the first time, we now have four different generations in
the workplace, so the Competition is a great opportunity for
younger members to really push boundaries and share ideas, as we
face the challenges in our future".
Deadline for entries is Friday 6 October 2017. The winning
team will be invited to attend the 2018 BCO Conference in Berlin,
including tickets, flights, hotel and a contribution towards
transfers and subsistence.
