EIC Ltd and Independent Women, the independent financial
advisers, have opened a new office in Glasgow's IFSD at 25
Blythswood Square.
The move marks expansion for the company, set up by current CEO
Lesley Mackintosh in 1993. She then spotted a gap in the
market for services tailored towards the style and preferences of
women and so she also launched Independent Women in 1997.
EIC Director Scott Mackintosh explains, "We are proud to be
announcing this expansion in a time of challenge as it reflects the
focus we have had over the last few tough years on our core
business ; ensuring we continue to provide sound, independent
advice to existing and new clients, to help them navigate the
choppy waters of recession. We have maintained our staffing levels
and grown our book steadily, putting us in a great position for the
future. We are looking for top quality staff to join us at this
time and to help us build greater things over the coming
years."
