Two offices in the IFSD are celebrating a one two finish in the
British Council for
Offices' (BCO) annual Scottish Awards.
At a prestigious awards ceremony held at the Grand Central Hotel
in Glasgow, the new office of corporate lawyers, Maclay, Murray and
Spens won the Award for Best Fit Out and business advisers Ernst
& Young's new office was voted Runner Up in the same category,
Both offices are in the same building, G1 in Glasgow's George
Square, and both fit outs were completed under separate contracts
by Clark Contracts.
Gordon Cunningham, managing director, Clark Contracts said, "For
these two projects in Glasgow's IFSD to have come first and second
in these prestigious national awards is a great source of pride for
us."
Later this year, the winners from Scotland will go on to compete
at a National level, in a bid to win the 'Best of the Best'
award.
The British Council for Offices' (BCO) mission is to research,
develop and communicate best practice in all aspects of the office
sector. It delivers this by providing a forum for the discussion
and debate of relevant issues.
