IFSDG:  What's a typical day for you?

Bethany:  Providing guidance to students and helping them increase their employability skills, reading through their documents and ensuring that everything is compliant and makes sense.

Supporting Host Companies as they join the initiative. This may be through phone calls, briefings or meetings.

Receiving Host Company packs and using my expertise to match up students with suitable projects.

From here, I can be briefing students and organising interviews etc.

Enjoying the day, working with some fab folk, all focused on helping to make the world a better place!

Bethany:  We have been in Glasgow for 12 years and have always been in the heart of the city. There is so much buzz and excitement in Glasgow and our office is perfectly positioned to take advantage of this.

IFSDG:  Three good things about working in Glasgow?

Bethany:  The culture - everyone is Glasgow is so welcoming and warm. The culture here is very diverse and two days are never the same! The city is very much a mix of all cultures, enriching our own and adding to others.

The food - you could literally eat somewhere different every day of the week and never get bored!

The people - Glaswegians are another breed of people, warm and welcoming.

IFSDG:  What is your biggest business achievement to date?

Bethany:  I moved to France alone when I was younger, with little knowledge of the culture or language and I persevered to come back a year later fluent and with lots of French friends.

IFSDG:  What is the best investment you ever made?

Bethany:  Going to University and studying abroad. I took part in an exchange Programme with the British Council and taught English to French students for a year.
