Glasgow?
Trevor: To be the commercial insurer of
choice for both customers and employees.
IFSDG: What's a typical day for
you?
Trevor: Can vary significantly from on
the road at 6am to client meetings anywhere between Inverness and
Newcastle, returning home at 8pm, in the office for 7.30 am,
reviewing email, client meetings and negotiations, catch up with
individuals on the team, planning, monitoring progress on specific
cases and overall.
IFSDG: Three good things about working in
Glasgow?
Trevor: A major financial centre, ease of
access to rest of Scotland and the UK and great restaurants for
entertaining clients.
IFSDG: What is your biggest business achievement
to
date?
Trevor: Since joining Fusion this would
be increasing our profit margin and more than doubling the number
of customers who use our on-line risk management offering.
IFSDG: What is the best investment you ever
made?
Trevor: In business, this would be
recruiting like minded people.
IFSDG: Which business person or company do you
most admire and why?
Trevor: Amazon, due to their innovative
thinking on accessing markets and their overall excellent customer
service.
IFSDG: What did you want to be when you were a
child?
Trevor: Grown up!
IFSDG: What do you do to relax away from the
office?
Trevor: Spend time with my family,
socialising, reading and out on the motor
bike.
