Over the last three years Glasgow City Council has put a number of policy frameworks in place which set out its detailed aims and objectives for the physical economic and social renewal of the city.

These include:

The Glasgow City Plan

The City Plan sets out the physical regeneration priorities for the city, the planning policies which are in place to influence the nature and style of development and detailed policies on issues such as design, heritage and traffic.

Glasgow's Economic Development Strategy

The Joint Economic Strategy, prepared on behalf of the Glasgow Local Economic Forum, sets out the policies to contribute to the continued growth of the Glasgow economy and the measures to ensure that the benefits of growth are available to all sections of the local community.

Metropolitan Glasgow - A Vision For The Future Of The City Region

Metropolitan Glasgow sets out a long term strategy for the regeneration of the City-Region, identifying 12 strategic projects which will impact significantly on the economic and social prospects of the city region over the next 10 years and sets out a series of ambitious targets, against which progress will be assessed.
