Scotland's forthcoming Fintech
Festival offers an action packed calendar of over 40 events across
Scotland, including nine in Glasgow. Taking place between the 9th
and 27th September, the Fintech Festival is co-ordinated by Fintech
Scotland. It comprises conferences, meet-ups, breakfast sessions,
evening networking events and much more; all covering the current
hot topics in this vitally important sector.
In Glasgow, a varied calendar
of events is kicked off by Morgan Stanley's hosting of a 'Durable
DevOps event on the 9th at 1700. On the 12th, there's a double
header at Strathclyde University with The Future of Fintech IV at
1400 and Barclays AI Frenzy at 1730. The DATA:Scotland annual
conference is on the 13th at the TIC in George Street and, on the
evening before, Incremental Group is hosting a DATA:Scotland fringe
workshop on database migration to the cloud. MBN Solutions hosts
guest speaker David Tracy, Chief Analytics Officer at Castlight
Financial on the 19th at 1830 and Glasgow University Fintech
Society has experts delivering a series of Lightning Talks on the
24th at 1800. Pinsent Masons' event on the 26th at 1800 focuses on
'Fintech Vs. Cybercrime' .
