Some of Glasgow's most prominent financial employers met with
graduates from the city's higher and further education sectors at a
special networking event organised by the Glasgow branch of Women in Banking and Finance
(WiBF).
Representing the talent pipeline of the future, nearly 50
graduates from the Universities of Glasgow, Strathclyde, West of
Scotland, Glasgow Caledonian University and City of Glasgow
College, attended the event at the Blythswood Hotel to meet and
network informally with employers from Glasgow's financial and
business services industries, including Morgan Stanley, KPMG and
Sky.
Chaired by WiBF Glasgow's Cristina Chimenti, the event featured
highly informative, entertaining presentations by Margaret Johnson,
Morgan Stanley, Lynne Lockier, KPMG, Alex McGuire, Scottish
Enterprise and Mark McFall, Change Recruitment.
Earlier this year, WiBF Glasgow organised a highly successful
networking event for those recently relocated to work in financial
services in the city.
Both networking events were organised by WiBF Glasgow in
partnership with Glasgow's IFSD.
