Glasgow's Top Financial Students Recognised

Seven top financial services students, one from each university and college in Glasgow, have been recognised by Glasgow's IFSD for achieving top performance on their courses. At an awards ceremony for the IFSD Glasgow Student Awards 2016, each student was presented with a certificate and £250 to mark their achievements.

The awards programme highlights the wealth of talented graduates emerging from Glasgow's universities and colleges, prepared for careers in financial services.  All seven students were nominated by their respective institutions as 'outstanding achievers.'

They are pictured above (from left to right)

Stuart Gillies, 22, from the Isle of Raasay, first class honours in Finance, Investment and Risk from Glasgow Caledonian University.

Carli Daniels, 19, HNC in Financial Services from City of Glasgow College.

Eilidh MacLennan, 22, first class honours in Finance from the University of Strathclyde.

Lewis Andrew, 22, Degree in Accounting at the University of the West of Scotland.

Gordon McCorkell, 32, HND Accountancy at Glasgow Kelvin College.

Weizhong Hu, 48, HND in Accounting at Glasgow Clyde College.

University of Glasgow's winner, Graziana Masola, 23, MSc in International Financial Analysis was unable to attend the ceremony because of job interview commitments in Italy
