The Finance division of Morgan Stanley in Glasgow
will celebrate its 10 year anniversary this spring.
Over 14 years, the Glasgow office, located in the city centre,
in the heart of the IFSD, has grown to over 1,200 employees across
5 divisions: Operations; International Wealth Management;
Technology and Data; Fund Services and Finance.
The Finance division in Glasgow has changed from an early focus
on basic accounting and trader profitability support roles to build
on the recognition of the high quality candidates available in the
market, covering functions such as financial reporting and
accounting advisory. Roles have now expanded and matured
further, offering opportunities in regulatory and liquidity
reporting.
As reflects the scope of roles and the support of its talent
pool, the organisation holds accreditation with all key accountancy
bodies, including ICAS, ACT and ACCA. The development of
staff is also recognised across all locations, with a track record
of developing individuals and exporting talent across the
globe.
