Global management, engineering and development consultancy, Mott MacDonald is moving to Abstract's St Vincent
Plaza office scheme in the IFSD.
The business is relocating from 1 Atlantic Quay in mid-2017,
taking the 5th and 6th floors comprising 34,515 sq ft on a 15 year
lease from February 2017.
St Vincent Plaza is
a speculative 'Grade A' office development of 172,280 sq ft over 12
floors. It occupies a prominent position in Glasgow City
Centre and has been designed to support highly efficient day one
occupancy levels from 1 person per 6 sq.m.
With a BREEAM 'Excellent' environmental accreditation, Abstract
claims the development provides the most cost effective new build
city centre office accommodation anywhere in the UK.
Mott MacDonald's Andrew Oldfield said: "St. Vincent Plaza will
provide a modern working environment for our almost 400 employees
and support our growth for years to come."
Christopher McPherson, Development Director of Abstract said:
"This location is buzzing. The Scottish Power HQ is now
complete and they are moving in. We are now down to our last floors
and prospective tenants will not have the opportunity to take new
space offering this combination of quality and value again."
