Nicola Anderson has been appointed as the new chief executive
officer (CEO) of FinTech
Scotland, the cluster leadership body.
She has been on secondment from the Financial Conduct Authority
(FCA) for two years and most recently became the interim CEO when
Stephen Ingledew became Executive Chair in November 2020
The FinTech Scotland announcement came as the body reached its
third anniversary. Since its formation in January 2018, the
Scottish fintech SME community has grown from 26 firms to 150.
Nicola was a senior regulator at the FCA and also brings
experience working for small enterprises and larger institutions,
with a focus on customer experience and operational change.
Executive Chair of FinTech Scotland, Stephen Ingledew said: "I
am looking forward to supporting Nicola take Fintech Scotland on to
the new stage of its exciting journey."
