Glasgow is set to benefit from over 600 new jobs after an
announcement that international company Teleperformance is
creating 1000 jobs across Scotland.
The move by Teleperformance will take its Scottish workforce to
more than 4,000 with the new roles covering customer service
advisors, trainers and team managers.
As well as 621 new posts in Glasgow city centre,
Teleperformance, a global leader in customer service, is recruiting
over the next few weeks to grow existing workforces in Airdrie,
Erskine and Kilmarnock on a full time and part time basis.
Teleperformance clients in Scotland include Traveline Scotland
and Students Loans Company.
First Minister Alex Salmond said: "This is a welcome boost for
employment and further strengthens Scotland's position in
out-performing the UK for securing inward investment."

Teleperformance employs over 138,000 across more than 270

different languages and dialects.
