Considering the current state of the general Insurance sector
and its immediate future were the main topics of aBreakfast Forum,
organised by The Insurance
and Actuarial Society of Glasgow (IASG).
This important event took place at the Radisson Blu Hotel
on Tuesday 3rd March 2015.
A complimentary breakfast was followed by a presentation
from three high profile expert speakers and there
was also an open Q&A session. The speakers were Jim
Herbert, CEO, Aon Risk Solutions, George Stubbs, Group MD, GS Group
and Richard Coleman, MD, Commercial Broker, Zurich Insurance
Group.
Delegates attending the event were able to identify expert
views on the current state of the General Insurance sector and what
lies ahead for the sector, the different challenges facing global
brokers and regional independents and how insurer perspectives
align with those of brokers.
The event was be chaired by Lorraine Dillett, IASG
President.
