Hotel Indigo
Glasgow in the IFSD has picked up a brace of accolades at the
InterContinental
Hotel Group (IHG) European Awards in Dublin.
Not only did it win the coveted title of 'Hotel of the Year',
but Indigo Glasgow's Denis MacCann was named General Manager of the
Year.
And the two awards for Hotel Indigo Glasgow, managed by the UK's
leading independent hotel management company Chardon Management,
were joined by two Quality Excellence Awards for Holiday Express
hotels at Glasgow Theatreland and Edinburgh Royal Mile, also
managed by Chardon.
Nicola Taylor, director at Chardon Management, said: "For Indigo
Glasgow to bag the two main gongs at these hotly contested awards
really is a tremendous achievement and stands testament to the
exceptional standards of excellence achieved by Denis MacCann and
his team.
"Indigo Glasgow is a vibrant, boutique hotel and, as the award
judges acknowledged, it is much more than just another hotel in
Glasgow. Its distinctive decor and inviting atmosphere make it
unique amongst other Glasgow hotels - and we are delighted that it
has now been recognised as the best IHG hotel in Europe - a
tremendous accolade for both the hotel and Glasgow."
