IFSDG:  How long have you worked in Parseq Ltd?

Graham:  I have been with Parseq since 2009

IFSDG:  How many people work at Parseq Ltd?

Graham:  We have around 2500 colleagues across the Group.

IFSDG:  What is the vision for Parseq Ltd in Glasgow?

Graham:  The vision is simple, invest to grow. We have been steadily growing our operation in Glasgow over the last few years and recently invested in new premises which positions Glasgow as one of the principal growth sites in our contact centre estate. Proud to call Glasgow home, I am committed to growing our Scottish operation and cementing Parseq as a partner and employer of choice.

IFSDG:  What's a typical day for you?

Graham:  Often travelling between the sites, talking to people and emails - always too many!

100% focussed on the two key ingredients of the business - People and Clients. Without either we wouldn't have a business!

IFSDG:  Why did Parseq Ltd choose to locate in the IFSD in Glasgow?

Graham:  Parseq deliver services within highly regulated and rapidly changing environments. Many of our clients operate within the financial services sector, including the UK's top ten banks. Having our home within the IFSD just made sense.  It's a prestigious location in Glasgow and the premises made available to us aligned to the Parseq corporate standard.

IFSDG:  Three good things about working in Glasgow?

Graham:  People, Banter, Closeness to home

IFSDG:  What is your biggest business achievement to date?

Graham:  The growth of the Parseq contact centre business, we have grown from 100 colleagues to its current size of 1500 across three delivery centres I have in the UK.

IFSDG:  What is the best investment you ever made?

Graham:  I have invested in many material things, however the best investment I have made is in myself and my family - be it time, education, new skills, knowledge; you can never lose it.

IFSDG:  Which businessperson or company do you most admire and why?

Graham:  Simon Cowell, love him or hate him he is an incredible business talent.

IFSDG:  What did you want to be when you were a child?

Graham:  Famous

IFSDG:  What do you do to relax away from the office?

Graham:  Leave my laptop in its case and spend as much downtime as possible with my wife and two children who are incredibly patient with the demands of my job. 

IFSDG:  I-Phone or Android?

Graham:  iPhone

IFSDG:  Favourite band?

Graham:  Texas

IFSDG:  Favourite sport?

Graham:  Tennis

IFSDG:  Favourite movie?

Graham:  I can think of three for very different reasons, The Breakfast Club (nostalgia), It's a Wonderful Life (Xmas movie and my favourite time of the year) & Braveheart (patriotism)

IFSDG:  Sunshine or snow?

Graham:  Sunshine, but we don't get enough of it!

IFSDG:  and finally, what three words sum you up?

Graham:     Driven, Committed, Real
